Equipe 84 formed in Modena, Italy in 1963 from two separate local groups:
"Paul and the Cats" and "The Young Lions". The line-up was Victor Sogliani (bass),
Frank Ceccarelli (drums), Maurizio Vandelli (guitar) and Alfio Cantarella (keyboards).
The group has a long and distinguished history in Italy with regular press and TV
appearances and appear to have been going strong up to (at least) 1992.
The band were real stars in Italy but not so elsewhere.
